Unilever R&D had purchased Siemens Teamcenter PLM software but were struggling to gain staff engagement with the PLM training programme resulting in low rates of system adoption.
I was engaged to review, develop and relaunch the programme. Assessed current training; met key stakeholders to understand drivers and concerns; built relationships with the Training Team; rewrote the materials and introduced digital and storytelling techniques; trained the Trainers; and relaunched the programme. Training attendance exceeded 90% with positive feedback at 97% resulting in changed perceptions of PLM and enabling system adoption.
